Fully Trained Service Technicians
Our people are our strength. Because of their experience and dedication it’s rare that we don’t achieve our mission. Naturally they’re all qualified and they attend comprehensive training for all new products that are released. We’re extremely proud that they’ve all been with us for many years.
Printer Service Management System
We support our field technicians with software and systems that we’ve developed to meet our specific needs. Calls are allocated to the technicians via their laptops. Whether it’s one of our copiers or multifunction printers, they have access to the full service history of the machine, manufacturers’ service manuals and in the event they require a part not with them, they can order it online before leaving your premises. Their spare parts are replenished every evening via courier.
The system generates a daily report which shows the fault reported and the work completed by the technician for the current and three previous calls. This helps management identify recurring problems; these are addressed by our printer service manager who inspects the machine, changes our maintenance programme or addresses the problem at in-house training.
Our Printer Service Management System also calculates the time taken to complete each call, and our average completion time for all calls. We’re more than happy for existing and potential customers to inspect our “live” reports.
We provide a detailed report of all service calls completed in respect of all the office photocopiers, multifunction printers and laser printers that we service. These reports include the time each call was logged, allocated and completed and the work performed. More than anything else this report allows our customers to see whether we’re good to our word.
If you’re not already a customer of ours we suggest you ask your current service provider to supply these reports. We’re sure you’ll find the outcome interesting!
We also include software that automatically notifies us page counts at the agreed intervals and when toner in your copiers and multifunction printers reaches a predetermined level, e.g. 33%. This reduces administration at your end and ensures that you never run out of toner.
We’ve invested several hundred thousand dollars in our systems; without them we couldn’t continue to exceed customers’ expectations.

Preventative Maintenance Contract
To ensure your photocopier / multifunction printer / laser printer achieves a consistently high standard of quality, we offer a comprehensive preventative maintenance contract that includes toner, parts and labour and key operator training based on an agreed cost per page.
A maintenance inspection interval is programmed into your photocopier / multifunction device / laser printer in accordance with the machine’s specifications. At each maintenance interval our technicians complete all checks and replace all parts in accordance with the manufacturers’ service manual, thereby addressing problems before they occur. This is similar to the service programme offered by motor vehicle manufacturers, except the cost is predetermined.
Most of our competitors offer this service but deliver what we call “corrective maintenance”; they only attend after copy quality deteriorates or a breakdown occurs. This helps their bottom line and you’ll probably need to replace the copier / multifunction printer / laser printer before it reaches the end of its effective life.
