Brother & Samsung Laser Printers earn Outstanding Energy Efficiency Awards

In July the world’s leading independent tester of document imaging products – Buyer Laboratory LLC (BLI) awarded Brother and Samsung Laser Printers with “Outstanding Achievement – Energy Efficiency” awards to 5 of their laser printer models. Over an 8 month period BLI tested competitive laser printer models in each range and found the Brother MFC-8950DW & MFC-8910DW along with the Samsung CLX-6260FD, CLX-6260FW & CLP-680 series to be among the most energy efficient models within their groups.

These winners exhibited significantly lower than average energy consumption for their respective product categories and offer a variety of environmentally friendly features to help users reduces their overall environmental impact.

The Brother MFC-8950DW & MFC-8910DW exhibited energy consumption from 41% to as much as 51% lower than the competitive average.

While Samsung’s CLP-680 series energy consumption rate was 55% lower than average & the CLX-6260FD & CLX-6260FW were both 52% lower than the average. As well as having fantastic energy consumption ratings the Samsung’s also have above average awake times from sleep mode, letting users utilize the units’ energy efficient sleep settings without compromising on productivity.
