Improved cost efficiencies A Managed Print Plan offers an agreed cost per mono (black & white) and colour page that includes volume, equipment and service across all print devices. In addition to delivering cost savings ranging from 10 to 40%, other benefits include assisting in budgeting and allocation of costs to the appropriate business unit, and eliminating the need to deal with multiple vendors (as a single point of contact improves communication and accountability). Most importantly, it removes the responsibility of managing your print platform, leaving you free to concentrate on your business.

Payout of Existing Contracts When reviewing your business’s current print agreements, your Axia account manager will calculate how much you have left owing on any existing contracts and include the payout figure in your customised quote.
Preventative maintenance and fast breakdown servicing Axia’s service model is based on a preventative maintenance schedule (instead of corrective, the industry standard) for each of your devices in order to ensure high print quality throughout the life of the equipment. We program inspection intervals in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications, and at each maintenance interval, our technicians complete all checks and replace all parts in accordance with the manufacturer's service manual, thereby addressing problems before they occur. This leads to fewer breakdowns and more time for our technicians to respond to breakdown calls, giving us a very fast service completion time of 4 hours or less.
Continuous monitoring of your account Toner is remotely monitored and delivered before a replacement is required, eliminating the need for you to buy and store any inventory or worry about running out. Also, your account manager will continue to regularly review your account and work with you to identify opportunities to reduce costs further and add value to your business.
Our Managed Print Services Process
Axia Office is committed to offering you the best managed print solution to benefit your business. Once we receive your enquiry, our process is simple:
1. REVIEW: An account manager will contact you to find out more about your print and business requirements, as well as review your current equipment, usage, and costs.
2. ANALYSIS: We’ll calculate the true operating cost of printing to your business, what finance options would work best, and any payouts that we need to include.
3. SOLUTION: You’ll be presented with a customised and complete proposal, including finance options, brand new equipment and service – all compared to your current costs.
4. IMPLEMENTATION: We'll set up all devices and users, including delivery, installation and training. You’ll then receive fast, ongoing support, reliable toner delivery, and scheduled preventative maintenance throughout the duration of the agreement.
5. DONATION: Our clients enable us to support the local community: for every deal signed, Axia donates to a charity partner — Foodbank NSW & ACT, Rural Aid Australia, or RSPCA NSW — the choice is yours.
6. MONITORING: Your account manager will continue to regularly review your account and work with you to identify opportunities to reduce costs and add value to your business.
Axia’s Preventative Maintenance Approach
Axia’s service model is based on a preventative maintenance schedule for each of your devices. In our 25+ years of experience maintaining and servicing machines, we've seen that a preventative maintenance approach is far more efficient in reducing both costs and equipment downtime.
As an Axia Office client, your machines are serviced on a volume schedule in order to ensure a consistently high standard of quality and to prevent breakdowns or emergency servicing.
The Importance of Preventative Maintenance
Preventative maintenance for your machines work similarly to car servicing: if you take your car in to get its brakes fixed, the mechanic will only fix your brakes, and you may be back a month later to fix something else; but, if you take your car in for its regular services, i.e. 100,000km service, the mechanic is going to look over everything and preventatively maintain your vehicle to prevent it from needing another or more major service sooner.
How Our Ongoing Service Works
We program inspection intervals in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications, and at each maintenance interval, our service technicians complete all checks and replace all parts in accordance with the manufacturer’s service manual, thereby addressing problems before they occur. And, unlike your car service, the cost is included in your contract.
It also allows us to prioritise you if your equipment breaks down. Clients A, B & C may have preventative services already booked, but as those are not urgent, your emergency service is prioritised, and from the time of your call, you’ll receive COMPLETE SERVICES IN LESS THAN 4 HOURS.
